Son No. 2 turns 30 today. BIG 30. So hard to believe it’s been that long.
Middle child who got the brunt from his big brother and most likely got blamed for things happening to his little brother. Can’t win. Although a little different, I can relate as I am also a middle child, but I am a girl sandwiched between 2 boys with more space in between.
Sometimes those middle children get a bit left out. As parents we try to make sure the older one gets the direction they need and keep the younger ones from falling in the cracks and the middle ones just get pushed along the route.
Whatever effects being a middle child had on him weren’t too bad because he turned out great. He has the sweetest disposition and is a hard worker. He has grown into a great young man and a wonderful father. And it is so fun to watch your kids have to deal with issues in their kids that you had to deal with in them.
He is a lot of fun to be around and I enjoy him immensely.
