Spring is in the Air

We had a burst of sunshine and warmer temperatures for about a week. The temps are dropping a little with a bit of rain on and off for the next week or so. I spent some time getting started on garden clean up. Lots of pine needles got raked up, rose bushes trimmed, and other general Spring garden maintenance.

Hi, I’m Karen. I have four grown children and three grandchildren who are my life. I live in Northern California in a small rural town on 5 acres near a seasonal creek with a large garden which gets bigger every year. I love being outside working in the yard, spending time with my family, and rondezvousing through the world on various excursions as often as I can. I love to garden, cook and bake, craft, take photographs, enjoy cruises whether on our pontoon boat or a big cruise liner. My goal is to share my knowledge, both old and new found, in the above categories as well as take you on any adventures with me. Please stick around and say hi once in a while.
