Today is the 32^nd birthday of by first born son. I can’t believe how fast time has gone. I distinctly remember being in the delivery room having him and how unbelievable it was to see and hold this precious creation that I made and carried inside of me for almost 10 months (he was 2 weeks late). He was perfect and beautiful.

Christmas Tree Hunting and Family Fun

The boys all came home for a quick weekend after Thanksgiving to do our traditional Christmas tree hunting. They brought their girlfriends and wanted to show them how this event takes place.

Hi, I’m Karen. I have four grown children and three grandchildren who are my life. I live in Northern California in a small rural town on 5 acres near a seasonal creek with a large garden which gets bigger every year. I love being outside working in the yard, spending time with my family, and rondezvousing through the world on various excursions as often as I can. I love to garden, cook and bake, craft, take photographs, enjoy cruises whether on our pontoon boat or a big cruise liner. My goal is to share my knowledge, both old and new found, in the above categories as well as take you on any adventures with me. Please stick around and say hi once in a while.
