Date night is something that doesn’t happen often enough. Plans are made and then things come up. Yes I agree, some things should not interfere with date night. But sometimes you gotta roll with the punches. Some things are out of our control.
This date night was a stay in date night. Mr. M came over. I had some scallops that I had bought from Costco. I made up a recipe I ran across for seared scallops and fettuccine in a cream sauce. We had that with a salad and homemade Cheddar Bay Biscuits. It was delicious. Scallops are one of my favorite sea foods. Along with crab and lobster of course. I am not a big fish lover. Although I am more likely to eat fish now then I ever was before, I could do without. But these three shellfish definitely agree with my taste buds.
After dinner and cleaning up, we just hung out and watched some TV. It was a perfect date night.
